Visit Us at Ingenuity
Cleveland Health and Wellness Center (CHAWC) is excited to exhibit "Explore the Interactive Mental Map" at IngenuityFest on September 25–27, 2026!
A collaboration between Cleveland Health and Wellness Center and Literary Cleveland, Mental Map explores how our environments shape our experiences and identities.
Through stories, poetry, and photography from across Northeast Ohio, the project celebrates resilience, healing, and hope.
At the festival, highlights from the digital Mental Map will be printed and displayed throughout our physical exhibition space, creating an opportunity for visitors to step into the map and discover the many ways Northeast Ohioans experience connection, recovery, hope, and community.
Come explore the Mental Map, experience the creativity of local artists and storytellers, enjoy live music and handmade goods, and come say hi to the CHAWC team!

A Living Archive of Community Strength
The Interactive Mental Map is a living archive of community strength, transforming personal experiences into shared landscapes of growth and resilience.
The digital map features contributions that remind us that mental health and wellness are shaped not only by individual experiences, but also by the people, places, memories, and communities that help us keep going.
From the Digital Map to a Physical Space
At IngenuityFest, selected highlights from the digital map will come to life in CHAWC’s exhibition space.
Visitors will be able to explore printed stories, poetry, photographs, and other creative contributions while discovering the places and experiences that Northeast Ohio community members have connected with healing and hope.
But exploration is only the beginning.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to contribute their own stories, memories, and drawings by responding to prompts using Post-it Notes.
When we share our stories, we create opportunities for recognition and connection. Someone else may see a memory on the wall and realize they are not alone. A drawing may spark a conversation. A familiar place may remind someone of a time when they felt supported. A story of resilience may offer hope to someone who needs it.
That is the spirit of the Interactive Mental Map: connection through creativity, storytelling, and shared experience.
Community Outreach Through Creativity
Community outreach is an important part of the work we do at Cleveland Health and Wellness Center. Bringing the Mental Map to IngenuityFest gives us another way to connect with the people and communities we serve while sharing mental health resources in an accessible, creative environment.
We hope the exhibition will encourage visitors to pause, reflect, create, and connect—with the map, with one another, and with the many resources available to support mental health and wellness.
Come Find Your Place on the Map
Explore stories of healing and hope. Discover what places and experiences have helped others along their journeys. Add your own memory, story, or drawing. And learn more about the mental health resources available in our community.
We believe community is part of wellness—and our environments shape our identities.
We look forward to seeing you at IngenuityFest!
